quite often, they'll be reduced to
buildings and tombs
that're made of concrete and stone
however,
the impermanence of the permanence
may soon be replaced & honed
by clones with skin, fresh & bones
be it singer or president
Michael Jackson or Dolly Parton
Hitler or Lincoln
all can be xeroxed without problems
to live or relive as live momuments
from DNA to genome
from leather fern to real human
do good genes need a kingdom?
& bad genes multiply throughout the continent
or living with the same old genes mean bordom?
be it inheritance or persistence
from DNA to genome
Dolly is truly hard earned
thru' Dr Wilburt's persistence
but, is this a concern?
for this near term
"DNA for dummies"
will be the nxt best title to be learned
for those who're merely concerned
with what makes money churned
cells that perm
eggs that can gyrate and turn
take the next interesting turn
we'll see babies squawling out from the lab
that generates the next heated social-political concerns
be it blah blah clone sheep or baby cloned
it's issues on genetics & ethics that make heads turn
be it blah blah earned sheep or baby churned
it's economics that decern
& lessons to be learned or unlearnt?
